A wet day. Very wet! We chose to explore Hadrians Wall a bit. In full waterproofs we set off west from the Steel Rigg car park. The farm wall we walked beside eventually became Hadrians Wall itself. It continued to rain - not hard, just a heavy drizzle.
On our return to the car park we continued east to the famous Sycamore Gap. Once there the rain stopped. The day was still dull and the sky drab.
