A day with a lot of driving. The first main stop was at Mallaig - not exactly photogenic, except for views looking over to Skye. The route to Kyle of Lochalsh cannot follow the coast but requires a long inland detour. Firstly past Gelenfinnan on the way to Banavie.

An attempt to reach the coast at Kinloch Hourn was scuppered by roadworks on the section onwards from Loch Quoich.
