Scotland Day 7

Kyle of Lochalsh : Dornie (Eilean Donan Castle) : Glenelg : Corran : Stromeferry : Plockton (Coral Beach) : Kyleakin : Kylerhea : Kyle of Lochalsh

Another damp day - drizzle until 1.00pm and then dull with bits of drizzle for the rest of the day.
The first part of the day was spent on the mainland.  Firstly going past Eilean Donan and out to Glenelg.  Later in the season there is a small car ferry from there over to Kylerhea on Skye.  Despite the gloom, it was possible to see across to the opposite ferry point on Skye.

Followed the road further around the coast to Corran where I managed to find some shelter outside a closed community and tourist centre.  The high winds sent the rain almost sideways!
Back to Eilean Donan for yet more views and then out to Stromeferry at which point I made contact with a bit of my North Coast 500 route in 2017.
The main walk of the day - the drizzle had stopped - was to the Coral Beach at Plockton.

Then over the bridge to Skye.

A quick visit to Kyleakin and then to Kylerhea and from the latter to look back to the opposite ferry point at Glenelg.

The day ended with an uninspiring short walk around the Kyle of Lochalsh harbour.
