Cheltenham 49 : Lichfield 10
Yet another success for the Cheltenham 1st XV. Unfortunately the 2nd XV match on grass was on at roughly the same time, but their convincing win against Devizes (77 : 0) and a slightly earlier finish meant that they were able to give support at the end of the 1st XV match - very enthusiastically and very loud!
The light throughout the match was very variable. Often in cloud, but too often in very low bright sun.
