Two matches in one day and no time to have even started edited the previous day's men's match! Both women's teams were in action. Both teams, currently top of their respective leagues, played the teams second in the leagues. The matches were, therefore, important if the Cheltenham teams were to maintain their top spots.
Cheltenham 2nd XV 26 : Ellingham and Ringwood 12
This match was on grass and started at 1.00pm. There was sufficient time to photograph the first half before leaving to capture the 1st XV match at 2.00pm. The half time score was 19 : 7.

Cheltenham 1st XV 59 : West Park Leeds 7
This game, on the astro-turf, was fully expected to be a really hard fought match, but as the result shows it turned out to be rather one-sided. Excellent from my point of view as it made it easier to anticipate where the action would be.
