A wet day. Very wet. Very, very wet. Our first excursion was to visit the Elan Valley reservoirs. Not only was it raining but the reservoirs were miserably low due to maintenance work. When we reached Rhayader we turned around, retraced our route and carried on to Aberystwyth. There we experienced a maze of little roads, parked cars everywhere and had to go right out the the harbour before finding a spot to park. We managed a brief walk around the harbour before the heavens opened again!
