Hailes in Winter

An afternoon walk.  We parked at Hailes church and walked up the track and across the fields to Cromwell's Seat.  The low winter sun lit up the trees beautifully and they were made more dramatic by the dark rain clouds beyond.  Those clouds eventually gave us some rain, but we were fortunately at the edge of the rain as it moved south.  We dropped down to Wood Stanway and made our way back to Hailes .
