A rare outing for both my macro lens and my tripod. Autumn-Anna's mother had give us a lovely bouquet of flowers (and other goodies) as a 'thank you' for the photoshoot on Sunday 20 September. Some had already died, but most were still looking lovely. These, a globe artichoke, fir cones and some other dried items were photographed on a windowsill. Since some of the items had great texture which suited a high contrast monochrome look, the flowers were done in the same way.
The tripod head had broken on one of the previous outings and the repair made it almost unusable. The only possible answer was to buy a new tripod head. It took a whole morning to work out how to remove the broken one - as usual it was easy once I'd worked out what to do!
