Dumbleton v Milfield Hall
Another match in the National Village Cup competition. Dumbleton batted first. There was a brief pause for a rain shower, but generally the weather was good. Dumbleton managed 225 runs which according to one of the non-playing team members would be a winning total. When I left Milfield Hall were halfway though their 40 overs but had only scored 54 runs. It was, therefore, quite a surprise to find out later that they had ended up only 12 runs behind.
Dumbleton won by 12 runs
