Despite a truly dreadful weather forecast and pouring rain on the way to Williton, the afternoon was lovely at the beach at West Quantoxhead.
Steph's chosen theme was "Gold". Garry applied gold leaf to her face and neck - stuck on with Pritt Stick! We chose the beach because of the backgrounds we could use and part of my brief was to create an even more gold effect in Photoshop. Steph had sourced a number of outfits - an orange top, a long orange dress, a long brown/yellow/gold print dress and a long yellow dress. The latter looked a bit like a nightdress, but was still very effective. My contribution was some gold material.
The effect of Steph's hairstyle was to look wet and slicked back. Lots of hair spray was needed to keep it in place.
The orange outfits were dramatic against the cliffs and with the green of the waterfall behind.

The cloudy sky provided a lovely background for the brown print dress.

The yellow dress worked really well with the gold leaf, particularly against the dark waterfall. Or under the waterfall. The water was freezing!

Finally we used the gold material - with Steph just holding in to cover herself.

At the end of the shoot we did some pictures of Steph with Garry.
