Scotland Day 12

Greshornish : Sligachan : Elgol : Fort William : Glencoe : Loch Lomond

The start of the long journey home, with a night at Loch Lomond.  The route took in Sligachan again, but with much better weather this time.

Chose to visit Elgol again and was rewarded with terrific views of the Cuillin.  Took a long walk along the ‘beach’ in the hope of seeing ‘round the corner’, but there was always another headland to reach.  Rather like the false summits on a hill walk.

Revisited Glencoe, but planned detour to Loch Etive was abandoned due to having spent the long but very productive time at Elgol.

The landlord of the Culag Lochside Guesthouse was friendly and very proud of his sunrise and sunset pictures of Loch Lomond.
